Clean Cooking Alliance

The Clean Cooking Alliance, which was previously called the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves, is a non-profit group that works with the United Nations Foundation to help spread clean cooking technologies in countries with lower and middle incomes. Each year, four million people die from health problems caused by air pollution inside homes that comes from using open fires and fuels that are not clean for cooking. The Alliance was launched in 2010 by Hillary Rodham Clinton, who was then the U.S.
