America's Pledge is a group made up of cities, states, universities, businesses, government officials, and citizens who want the United States to keep its promises under the Paris Agreement and stay a leader in fighting climate change. The group was started and led by Michael Bloomberg and Jerry Brown. It was formed in 2017 after Donald Trump decided to leave the Paris Agreement. The group collects and shares information about climate action in the United States and helps cities, businesses, and states, both in the U.S. and other countries, organize efforts to address climate change.

According to the group's 2019 report, more Americans are supporting the group's goals. The report says that coalitions working to support the Paris Agreement represent 65% of the U.S. population, 51% of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, and 68% of the U.S. GDP. Policies already in place by these groups could reduce emissions by 19% by 2025 and 25% by 2030 compared to 2005 levels. The report also states that local actions without federal help could reduce emissions by 37% by 2030 from 2005 levels. With federal support, emissions could be cut by 49% by 2030, matching the goal of limiting temperature increases to 1.5 degrees set by the United Nations. Groups working for this purpose include We Are Still In, US Climate Alliance, Climate Mayors, and others.
